Chef Mimmo To Open Botica at The Brookwood in January 2021

Restaurant replaces Watershed, serving flavors of Mexico and Spain

Botica by Chef Mimmo will open its doors in The Brookwood on January 1, 2021, a company spokesperson Thursday confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta. Botica (boh-tee-kah) features in-house smoked meats, homemade dressings, salsas, sauces, and a made-from-scratch menu from seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant replaces Watershed, at 1820 Peachtree Road, NW, Unit 3.

Botica’s 5,000-square-foot space includes banquette and single seating for 180, a private dining room, and 40 high definition flat-screen TVs. Accordion doors open from the bar to al fresco dining for 100 on the 2,000-square-foot covered patio, equipped with heaters, fans, and a ringside seat on Peachtree Road. The 1,500-square-foot bar sits as the centerpiece of the entrance.

Botica will offer a “next-level” brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with signature savory dishes, and bottomless Mimosas. The restaurant’s art collection features “whimsical pieces curated by Mexican artists that complement the bold backdrop of Restaurants Consulting Group’s inimitable design,” the spokesperson said.
